🚨 ONE PIECE EPISODE 1155 ENDES “SEASON 1” AFTER 1155 EPISODES: THE MOST BRUTAL DEATH IN HISTORY – ST. SATURN “ERASED” BY IMU RIGHT BEFORE THE MARINES! 😱☠️

1155 episodes later, with recaps, filler, and even reanimated episodes, One Piece just finished what’s technically season 1 of the anime. However, before rolling credits and giving a glorious, heartfelt sendoff to Bonney and Kuma’s story from the Egghead Arc, a heinous villain met his demise. St. Jaygarcia Saturn, Godhead of Science & Defense, is now dead in One Piece.

Saturn’s passing was him getting his just desserts in One Piece episode #1155. Not only did he fail to suppress Vegapunk’s broadcast discussing the Void Century and the state of the planet; doing so meant he failed Imu directly. The result was the mysterious One Piece villain revoking Saturn’s immortality as he instantly withered to a husk and died.

One Piece Saturn Dying in Chapter #1155

The emotional climax of One Piece’s Egghead Arc was still showing its ripple effects in episode #1155, but for many, Saturn’s death was the gnarliest yet most satisfying moment. It’s coldly preceded by the very last scene in which Figarland Garling assumes Saturn’s post to the shock of the Five Elders, before the Marines aboard Saturn’s ship witness his death.

With the episode clearly showing Saturn even in his elderly state 200 years ago, without immortality propping him up, the Elder was powerless against the ravages of time that left him as a skeleton. It’s a fitting end for somebody so inhumanly cruel in One Piece that his remains are nothing more than an unrecognizable pile of bones.

While One Piece has certainly delivered heartbreaking deaths before, with Ace and Whitebeard coming to mind, rarely is one shown that’s wholly justified. People needlessly suffered, very much as part of Saturn’s design, in the name of advancing his and the World Government’s interests.

Jaygarcia Saturn’s reputation for cruelty was well-documented in One Piece, with his particularly evil contributions being during Kuma and Bonney’s past. His experimentation on Ginny, and horrible agreement in which Kuma lost his humanity in exchange for Bonney’s treatment, make him an especially terrible villain.

Saturn, much like the rest of the Five Elders and indeed the Celestial Dragons, had a callous disregard for human life, with no qualms about their suffering even as the world continues to sink. While Saturn’s passing is satisfying, it’s a bad day for villains everywhere as the Celestial Dragons are experiencing a food shortage.

While Saturn’s passing is satisfying, it’s a bad day for villains everywhere as the Celestial Dragons are experiencing a food shortage.

With the Straw Hats now on their way to Elbaph, and the World Government soon on their way to attempt its annexation of the kingdom, they’re clearly after not just the strategic territory, but its bountiful resources.

Given Mariejois’s position atop the Red Line, and the recent One Piece mini magazine’s confirmation of a desert in that region, it’s fair to assume they don’t have a natural food supply. Given the Revolutionary Army additionally cutting them off at the knees via their food supply route, it’s clear that the Celestial Dragons’ home is unsustainable on its own.
