The recent One Piece Episode 1155 showcased one of the most terrifying displays of power when Imu executed Saturn for his failures during the Egghead Island Arc, especially for letting Luffy and Vegapunk escape. One Piece 1155: Saturn’s Execution Shows Imu’s Terrifying Powers

Saturn was one of the most prominent figures and the primary antagonist in the Egghead Island Arc, who was tasked to oversee Vegapunk’s execution and procurement of key research. However, he failed in his objective as Vegapunk Stella had previously planned a broadcast upon his death that revealed the whole truth to the world. However, he managed to secure York, Punk Records, and the Power Plant, with which they can get the Mother Flame.

However, Imu didn’t stand for his failure for letting Joyboy (Luffy) escape and decided to execute Saturn. While he was talking to his subordinates, Saturn suddenly started emitting black smoke, which was eventually followed by blue flames. That was Imu’s punishment and way of executing Saturn.

Imu granted Saturn, along with the other Elders, immortality and Yokai-like powers using his Abyssal Covenant. And after his failure, Imu strips Saturn, who was well over 200 years of age, of the power, leading to the latter’s body with nothing but bones. This demonstrated just how terrifying Imu’s true powers are, that he can eliminate someone as strong as an Elder just like that.

Who Is Figarland Garling in One Piece?

During the same One Piece Episode 1155, while the other four Elders were in their chamber, Garling introduced himself from the shadows and revealed that he had received special orders. From then on, Garling was to take over as Godhead of Science and Defence, the role previously held by Saturn. Furthermore, Vegapunk York will be under his direct command.

Before his new role, Garling was Supreme Commander of the Knights of God.
