New Details on the Disappearance of Maycon Douglas, Former Contestant of TVI

The former contestant of Casa dos Segredos on TVI had been missing for about 36 hours.

Maycon Douglas, 28, was one of the most publicized contestants of the eighth edition of Casa dos Segredos, presented by Cristina Ferreira, but left the show without winning anything just one gala before the grand final.

The former contestant from TVI was last seen after a party on the night of December 30 to 31, where he reportedly participated in Nazaré around 5 AM.

Now, during the afternoon of Thursday, January 1, 2026, maritime authorities announced in a statement that Maycon’s car was found submerged about 6 meters deep near the São Miguel Arcanjo lighthouse in Nazaré. It is a Nissan Micra, which corresponds to the car of the former reality show contestant. Search efforts in the water in that area of Nazaré began Thursday morning after it was determined that there was a strong probability the car was in the water.

Several divers continue at the site dedicated to the search, and so far, the former contestant from TVI has not yet been found, despite the location of his car.
